The hospital is viewed as the new benchmark for healthcare in Australia; digital healthcare systems like that at St Stephen’s integrate an array of stateof-the-art technologies, equipment and practices to deliver holistic, highquality patient care in the most costeffective manner possible. Bradley Lowe from the Good Guys Hervey Bay presents Brendon Peters and John Hill from the Cerebral Palsy League’s Hervey Bay Service with a gift card to help Brendon pursue his passion for photography. Good guys, great cause A picture is worth 1000 words and for the members of the Hervey Bay Cerebral Palsy League (CPL), it also represents freedom and self expression. Last week, the Good Guys Hervey Bay presented CPL member Brendon Peters with a gift card for $100 to help him pursue his passion for photography - a passion which was fostered by CPL’s hugely successful photography program. Brad Lowe from the Good Guys said CPL was one of their cause partners. “We have partnered with the Cerebral Palsy League for the last year and a half,” Brad said. “A lot of the guys are really into their photography, it’s pretty amazing and it really gives them something to focus on. “The money we’ve raised for them over the last year and a half has gone towards buying that gear.” Photography is anything but a cheap hobby. Camera bodies, lenses, fi lters, memory cards, batteries, bags, tri-pods and mono-pods are all essential gear that costs thousands of dollars. Brendon said the Good Guys’ gift card would go towards buying a camera of his own - a Nikon P600. CPL have put together two stunning 2015 calendars from the work of their members, which are available at the Good Guys for just $13.50. All proceeds from the calendars will go back into CPL’s programs.
